We accept all the major cards using Authorized.net, the largest Internet gateway, and Checkout by Amazon.  We also accept money orders, personal checks, and bank fund transfers.  Colorado customers pay state sales tax.

Item Availability and Payment Schedules

The SundryShop webstore is designed to display the actual availability of items, real time.  Simply putting an item into the cart system will not reomove it from the webstore.  Removal occurs after the buyer fully checks out and pays. So it is possible that an item might sell to another buyer when the item is in the cart system.  In addition, occasionally, items might be sold through other means (e.g., phone orders), essentially crossing paths with the order placed on line.  In that event, we defer to the “first placed order”.  

We are always glad to talk directly to customers about merchandise and accept a credit card on the phone.  Again, particularly during peak seasons, there is the possibility that an item will sell through the webstore while we are receiving information over the phone.  Once again, we defer to the "first come, first serve" policy.  In general, it is advantageous to place the order through the webstore whenever possible.  

Please note that when we developed and tested the use of the webstore during the middle of 2011, items that we put on sale didn't release the sale terms at the end of the sale at the "thump print" level.  When you click up the item to read the description, you'll see the correct price and that price will be charged during the checkout and payment prices.  We've worked to correct these instances.  However, should you encounter an example of this type of problem, please base your decision to buy on the price presented in the extended record.

Layaways and Other Payment Schedules

With larger orders, we can accommodate customers through layaways. We charge a percentage up front and require stipulated payments at defined intervals.   We promptly ship following the final payment.  We charge up to 30% of the total amount should you cancel a layaway.  Prior to paying using a layaway procedure, the buyer signs an agreed upon layaway contract.  Please contact us for possible arrangements. 

At times, we can order or otherwise obtain an item that isn’t currently in inventory; in that case, we request a 25% to 50% down payment and request prompt payment when we receive the item. Should the buyer cancel the order, we would keep up to 30% of the total amount.  Should we be unable to ship you the requested merchandise for any reason, we would refund you in full. 

Return Policy

SundryShop offers guaranteed customer satisfaction. We accept returns.  If you are not happy with your purchase, call us within 3 days of the item’s receipt to receive a return authorization. The buyer must carefully repack the item and use the original box and packing materials.  The item must be received back in the condition that it was sent. The original condition is verified by two people using a check list.  Buyers pays in full all original and return shipping costs.  A 20% restrocking fee will be applied to cover handling, packing, and administrative costs.  No returns, please, regarding special sale price items. We also can discuss applying returns as a credit toward other merchandise.  Please contact SundryShop if you have questions regarding our return policy. 

Damaged Merchandise

In the unfortunate event that merchandise arrives damaged, the customer must immediately contact SundryShop and receive instructions so a claim can be properly filed.   The customer should keep the damaged merchandise in the unaltered box, preserving all attached labels and original packing materials.  The customer must comply with terms set by the insurance company prior to receiving reimbursement, including but not limited to providing pictures, written statements, and other documentation.  We refund after the insurance company fully evaluates the nature of the damage.

Shipping Time and Lost Packages

Factors beyond our control, including busy holiday seasons, weather conditions, shipping company errors, can delay shipping or even result in a lost package.  We follow the guidelines provided by the Post Office and insurance companies and require 30 days to permit the package to be found, redirected, or returned to us. If prevailing shipping conditions are likely to prevent delivery of your package within a needed time span, call us so that we can arrange alternative shipping methods.  Additional charges would apply.   At the end of 30 days, should the package continue to be missing, a claim would then be formally initiated and a refund provided after the customer provides the insurance company with necessary documentation.  If the insurnace company requires an investiagion or the involvement of other agencies, we wait for the outcome before finalizing any refund.

Pictures and content provided on the SundryShop website or through certain other selling venues are our own property, for use solely by SundryShop.  The use of any of our pictures, no matter where it might be found on the Internet or through another selling violation, is an infringement violation that will result in legal action..
